جعفر الميرغني : الحزب لن يشارك في مؤتمر تقدم وسيشارك في مؤتمر القاهرة

صرح نائب رئيس الحزب الاتحادي الديمقراطي الأصل السيد جعفر الصادق محمد عثمان الميرغني بأن الحزب لم يتلقَ دعوة للمشاركة في مؤتمر قوى تقدم، ولم يشارك في هذا الملتقى. وأكد تثمين الحزب لجهود الحوار البناء وبناء المؤسسات المدنية الديمقراطية في البلاد، ورفضه لأي محاولات للنيل من وحدة الكيانات الوطنية، والتشويش عليها كما جرى للحزب.
وفي هذا السياق، رحب الميرغني بالمبادرة المقترحة من جمهورية مصر العربية الشقيقة لعقد لقاء خلال الشهر المقبل، معولاً على الدور المصري في تعزيز العملية السياسية والديمقراطية في السودان، مشيراً إلى أنهم سينضمون لهذا الملتقى بكل حماس، مؤكداً على أهمية توفير منصات للحوار الجاد والبناء.
ولم يفت الميرغني التعبير عن قلق الحزب إزاء الأنباء التي تتحدث عن محاولات لفرض إرادات خارجية على البلاد، مذكراً بالعواقب الوخيمة لفرض الأجندات الأجنبية في الماضي، والتي أدت إلى خسائر فادحة، بما في ذلك فقدان جزء من الوطن قبل أكثر من عقد، واندلاع أكبر تمرد في تاريخ البلاد العام الماضي. لذلك، دعا إلى احترام خصوصية الوضع السوداني واحترام مؤسسات الدولة المتبقية، وتوسيع قاعدة المشاركة.
وأكد الميرغني أن بلادنا تمر بظروف استثنائية وصعبة للغاية، مما يستدعي تضافر جهود جميع أبنائها وقواها الحية لتجاوز هذه المحنة، والعمل على بناء مستقبل أفضل للوطن والمواطن. وجدد التزام الحزب الاتحادي الديمقراطي الأصل بالمشاركة البناءة في أي جهود تصب في مصلحة الشعب السوداني، وتحقق تطلعاته نحو الاستقرار والتنمية والعيش الكريم، بعيداً عن أي تدخلات أو ضغوط خارجية. كما دعا جميع القوى السياسية والمدنية إلى تغليب المصلحة الوطنية العليا، وتجاوز الخلافات الضيقة، والعمل بروح الشراكة والتعاون لإنهاء الأزمة الراهنة، وبناء دولة مدنية ديمقراطية حديثة تحفظ سيادة البلاد واستقلالها.

Gafar El-Mirgani: The Party Did Not Participate in the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces (Tagadum) Conference and Will Enthusiastically Participate in the Cairo Conference

The Deputy Chairman of the Genuine Democratic Unionist Party, Mr. Gafar Al-Sadiq Mohammed Osman El-Mirgani, stated that the party did not receive an invitation to participate in the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces (Tagadum) conference, nor did it participate in this gathering. He affirmed the party’s appreciation for efforts towards constructive dialogue and building democratic civil institutions in the country, and its rejection of any attempts to undermine the unity of national entities.
In this context, El-Mirgani welcomed the proposed initiative by the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt to hold a meeting next month, relying on Egypt’s role in promoting the political and democratic process in Sudan. He noted that they will join this gathering with great enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of providing platforms for serious and constructive dialogue.
El-Mirgani did not fail to express the party’s concern over reports of attempts to impose external wills on the country, recalling the grave consequences of imposing foreign agendas in the past, which led to severe losses, including the loss of part of the homeland more than a decade ago, and the outbreak of the largest rebellion in the country’s history last year. Therefore, he called for respecting the peculiarity of the Sudanese situation and the remaining state institutions, as well as broadening the base of participation.
El-Mirgani affirmed that his country is going through exceptionally difficult circumstances, which necessitates the concerted efforts of all its vital forces to overcome this ordeal and work towards building a better future for the nation and its citizens. He renewed the Democratic Unionist Party’s commitment to constructive participation in any efforts that serve the interests of the Sudanese people and fulfill their aspirations for stability, development, and a decent life, away from any external interference or pressure. He also called on all political and civil forces to prioritize the supreme national interest, transcend narrow differences, and work in a spirit of partnership and cooperation to end the current crisis and build a modern, democratic, civil state that preserves the sovereignty and independence of the country.
