ثانياً, منذ بدء الاحداث (٨ أيام) ظللنا ولما يقع على عاتقنا من مسؤولية كبيرة نواجه كل المخاطر بصورة يومية لأداء واجباتنا تجاه الحيوانات نسبة لأن الحديقة تقع بالقرب من احدى المقار العسكرية التي تشهد .اشتباكات بصورة يومية
ولكن ضاق الحصار علينا لإنقطاع الكهرباء وبدأ ينفذ مخزوننا من اكل وشرب الحيوانات
.وتمت سرقة سيارتنا التي نستخدمها في اداء مهامنا وحتى الوقود صار يستحيل توفيره

انقطاع الكهرباء اصبح مهدد حقيقي لوسائل الحماية التي نعتمد فيها على الاجهزة الكهربائية بصورة .اساسية
.عدم تمكننا من الوصول للحديقة لإجراء اي صيانات او توفير اي ما يمكن توفيره
.انعدمت السلع والمواد وجفت كل الاسواق وانعدمت في ايدينا الحيلة

Firstly, may Allah protect Sudan and the people of Sudan.
Secondly, since the beginning of the conflicts (8 days) we have done our best to remain vigilant in the care of our animals at Sudan Animal Rescue Centre. However, we face extreme risks on a daily basis to perform our duties because the sanctuary is located near one of the military bases that witnesses deadly clashes on a daily basis.
We are under tremendous pressure due to the current power outage, and our stocks of food and drink are beginning to run out. One of our main vehicles, which we use to perform our duties, was stolen, and even fuel has become almost impossible to source.
We would like to inform you of the following:
1. The situation at the sanctuary and with the animals has become very critical.
The animals currently under our care are:
a. 25 Lions
b. 6 Hyenas
c. 6 Gazelles
d. 5 Wild cats
e. 2 Camels
f. 5 Squirrels
g. 2 Dogs
h. A large number of birds, monkeys and turtles
2. The Power outage has become a real threat to the means of protection since we rely primarily on electrical appliances to guard the animal enclosures
3. We are unable to access the sanctuary safely or have permanent staff on site to supervise the animals and perform any necessary maintenance
4. Goods and materials are becoming scarce and markets have dried up.
We therefore appeal to all officials and those with the ability to help with the need to intervene to save the situation as soon as possible.
