In this leaked audio recording, amid mocking and humiliating laughter, the former RSF commander Al-Nour Al-Qubba issues direct orders to shell Zamzam Camp and target civilian and medical facilities while leading operational movements in El Fasher, despite previously denying any involvement in the fighting there.
This recording is not a political narrative promoted by parties to the conflict, nor is it wartime propaganda. It is serious evidence related to crimes directly affecting civilians.
Today, Al-Nour Al-Qubba sits alongside Minni Arko Minnawi and figures within the Port Sudan authority as an ally and friend, while Minnawi and Jibril Ibrahim appeared in a televised speech two days ago speaking about the necessity of justice and accountability as a prerequisite for ending the war, especially regarding crimes committed in Darfur and El Fasher.
Following Al-Burhan’s recent statements that amnesty for defectors does not nullify the private rights of victims, the question now is no longer political. It is moral and legal:
Are you, as the Joint Forces, truly serious about justice and accountability?
Or are the blood of Darfur’s victims merely a bargaining tool and a media weapon for obtaining and maintaining power?
If Minnawi and Jibril are genuinely committed to justice, then they should immediately file criminal complaints against Al-Nour Al-Qubba based on these recordings. I am prepared to provide additional evidence and recordings related to crimes committed in El Fasher and Darfur under the command of Al-Burhan and Al-Qubba.
I also possess other recordings involving Abu Aqla Keikal, containing explicit orders to target and kill residents of the Kanabi communities belonging to Darfuri ethnic groups.
More seriously, I possess recordings of Al-Burhan himself instructing Al-Nour Al-Qubba to shell Zamzam Camp, civilian, and medical facilities. I have previously published leaked recordings of Al-Burhan ordering his forces to loot banks in Khartoum and target civilian infrastructure, and you are fully aware of my seriousness on this matter.
If you ignore this evidence while continuing to sit alongside those implicated in these crimes, then every statement about justice and accountability becomes meaningless. Your arguments for prolonging this war, which was ignited by your allies, under the pretext of awaiting justice, collapse entirely.
Justice cannot be selective.
No one can sit with individuals accused of crimes against civilians while simultaneously claiming to represent or defend the victims. That is irrational, and it exposes the entire Port Sudan alliance at every level.
I am waiting for your response.
And I have more.
