انطلاقاً من الترتيبات الجارية لعقد الاجتماع التحضيري المقرر في الثالث من يونيو ٢٠٢٦م بمدينة أديس أبابا، تبيّن لنا أن بعض الجهات تسعى لإقحام قوى مدنية وشخصيات مرتبطة بالمؤتمر الوطني ضمن المشاركين في هذا الاجتماع. إن مثل هذه المحاولات من شأنها أن تُفقد اللقاء مصداقيته ويقود الى تغويض الحوار وسوف يدفع بالقوى السياسية إلى العزوف عن الحضور.
ويؤكد المؤتمر الشعبي بوضوح أن أي مشاركة من المؤتمر الوطني أو عناصره ستقابل بانسحابنا الفوري من الاجتماع التحضيري للحوار السودانى/السودانى، ونعتبر ذلك تواطؤاً من بعض أعضاء الآلية الخماسية لإجهاض المساعي الرامية إلى توحيد القوى السياسية وتعزيز جهودها لإنهاء الحرب المستمرة منذ الخامس عشر من أبريل ٢٠٢٣م.
كما نحمل الآلية الخماسية المسؤولية الكاملة عن أي شرخ قد يصيب وحدة القوى السياسية ويؤدي إلى إبطاء الوصول إلى حل للأزمة الراهنة.

As part of the ongoing preparations for the preparatory meeting scheduled to be held on June 3, 2026, in Addis Ababa, it has come to our attention that certain parties are seeking to include civil groups and individuals affiliated with the National Congress Party among the participants in this meeting.
Such attempts would undermine the credibility of the meeting and contradict its stated objectives. We therefore reaffirm our clear position that participation should be limited to forces genuinely committed to a comprehensive political process and not associated with the former regime.
The Popular Congress Party stresses the importance of adhering to transparent and agreed-upon criteria for participation in order to ensure the success of the preparatory meeting and to contribute effectively to efforts aimed at achieving peace, stability, and democratic transition in Sudan.
