السيد الدكتور مسعد بولس، كبير مستشاري الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب للشؤون الأفريقية والشرق أوسطية، يعرب عن تقديره العميق لتحالف قوى الثورة (صمود)
أكد السيد الدكتور مسعد بولس أن الجهود المخلصة التي بذلها تحالف قوى الثورة (صمود) يثبت بما لا يدع مجالًا للشك أنهم الأكثر حرصًا على سلامة وأمن وحياة واستقرار الشعب السوداني في هذه المرحلة الحساسة.
وأشار السيد بولس إلى أن ما تفعله صمود يمثل نموذجًا وطنيا يحتذى به، مشيدًا بجهودهم الجبارة في تقديم تفاصيل دقيقة ومهمة عن تعقيدات سلام السودان وعن تنظيم إسلاميي السودان، مما جعلهم الأرفع قدرًا على مستوى العالم لوطنيتهم التي لا تحدها حدود من أجل تحقيق السلام.
وقال السيد بولس إن “صمود” هم نبلاء سلام السودان بلا منازع، وهم الأكثر استحقاقًا للثقة والاحترام من قبل الشعب السوداني والمجتمع الدولي، مؤكدًا أنهم لعبوا دورا أساسياً في تحقيق عملية السلام والاستقرار في البلاد.
وأعلن السيد بولس أن وفدي فرقاء الحرب في واشنطن قد أبدوا موافقتهم النهائية على مقررات الرباعية وخارطة الطريق المطروحة من قبل الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، مما يمهد الطريق لبدء عملية سياسية شاملة تتضمن الإصلاح العسكري والأمني.
وأضاف السيد بولس أن الأسبوع القادم سوف يشهد بداية إجراءات وقف إطلاق النار وفتح المسارات لتوصيل المساعدات الإنسانية للمتضررين، ومن ثم الدخول في عملية سياسية تشمل الإصلاحات العسكرية والأمنية فورًا.
وأكد السيد بولس أن الترتيبات الأمنية العسكرية المصاحبة لعملية السلام سوف تقودها الإدارة الأمريكية وشركاء عملية السلام من الأسرة الدولية، لضمان عدم الخروقات الأمنية بين الفرقاء، وتعزيز الاستقرار والأمن في السودان.
وقال السيد بولس إن هذه الخطوة تأتي في إطار الجهود الدولية لتحقيق السلام والاستقرار في السودان، وأن صمود تلعب دورًا مهمًا عقب هذه الترتيبات في المرحلة الانتقالية لهذه العملية.

Mr. Boulos noted that what Somoud is doing represents a national model to be emulated, praising their tremendous efforts in providing detailed and important information about the complexities of Sudan’s peace and the Islamic movement in Sudan, making them the highest-ranking in the world for their boundless patriotism in pursuit of peace.
Mr. Boulos said that Somoud are the undisputed nobles of Sudan’s peace, and they are the most deserving of trust and respect from the Sudanese people and the international community, affirming that they have played a fundamental role in achieving peace and stability in the country.
Mr. Boulos announced that the delegations of the warring factions in Washington have given their final approval to the Quadripartite Agreement and the roadmap presented by President Donald Trump, paving the way for a comprehensive political process that includes military and security reforms.
Mr. Boulos added that next week will witness the beginning of a ceasefire and the opening of corridors to deliver humanitarian aid to those affected, followed by a political process that includes immediate military and security reforms.
Mr. Boulos emphasized that the security and military arrangements accompanying the peace process will be led by the US administration and international partners, ensuring no security breaches between the factions and enhancing stability and security in Sudan.
Mr. Boulos said that this step comes within the framework of international efforts to achieve peace and stability in Sudan, and that Somoud plays an important role in the transitional phase of this process.
